May 25 – June 3 2012. Mark your SPRING 2012 calendar for a FRENCH AFFAIR.
Arriving in North America from Europe in the 19th. century, the modern day hybrids of the lilac produce masses of blooms in a wide spectrum of colours, from the traditional pink and purple to the lesser known yellow, white, blue and burgundy. A variety of floret shapes and colours are all on view and for sale during the 2012 Warkworth Lilac Festival. 2012 is a celebration of the French Hybrid Lilacs.
